The company is primarily engaged in the capture and commercialization of frozen tuna species using the seine fishing mode. It started trading in November of 1972. The company has a registered office located in Bermeo in Vizcaya, Spain. The company's activity is carried out in the tropical waters of the Atlantic Ocean (from Mauritania to Angola) and the Indian Ocean (from the east African coast to the east of Indonesia) both inside and outside of the EEZ of the shoreline countries (it holds the appropriate licenses), given that the tuna found in this area is a highly migratory species and not always located in a particular fishing ground. In the future, the company's activity of capturing tuna and similar will be extended to the tropical waters of the Pacific Ocean. It has a wide scale experience in international markets, to where approximately 70 percent of the production is exported.
